04/10/1987 - Iron Maiden Buffalo Memorial Auditorium
Notes: My first Rock N Roll show! I was so pumped. It was Lynn Englund, Kaposto, Dorsh, Jafo, Karl Von Schweiger, Billy Loukes that all went. One of the few things I'll never forget is Jafo's car overheating on the way there and after the show we all went to McDonalds and Lynn Englund lent me the money to buy a salad. I also will never forget that Bruce was running to one side of the stage and Steve turned around and just missed clocking Bruce right in the forehead with the neck of his bass.

04/18/1992 - Tribe The Scrapyard
Notes: This band blew me away!! I bought the CD Abort after the show and was hooked ever since. Sadly, they broke up in the mid 90's.
Set list(s): The only reason I walked into the long gone Scrapyard in Buffalo, NY on Saturday April 18, 1992 was because it's owner, Dror Khon (sp?) owed me money for a recent gig. After suffering through some lame-o local punk act the relatively unknown Tribe mounted the stage.
There I stood, front row dead center, for the show, my gaze almost entirely transfixed on Miss Janet LaValley. I purchased Abort the very next day and listened to it for a week straight. I joined the fan club, have an autographed 8 X 10 (in a scrapbook somewhere) as well as "my lucky" Tribe T-shirt, which I was wearing when I took an ID photo for my Citibank Visa credit card and have never allowed them to change since even though I am 12 years older and now have short hair.
I remember eagerly awaiting the release of Sleeper and initially was sorely disappointed and though time has given it some appeal, it's no Abort.
I prayed that Tribe would return to Buffalo...they never did. Then I received the fan club letter
annoucing their final show in Boston. I toyed with the idea of driving up for it, but I was way too broke and my car was way too beat-up. This is one of three shows I regret missing, the other two being the Monsters Of Rock festival (VH, Scorps, Doken, Mettalicrap & Kingdom Come) which I stayed home for so I could study for my calculus exam and INXS in Toronto in September of 1997 which I missed because of car problems I experienced while driving to the 09/21/1997 Bruce Dickinson solo show and I was afraid to tax the poor thing for fear of not making it to my CBGB's showcase a week later so I follow a Russian death metal band on a Monday night in front of 10 people. Needless to say, Michael Hutchence died that December and now I have to seem them with that hack on vocals...but I digress.
Back to Tribe: 1) Thank God that someone (bless your heart Steve) had the wherewithal to put a long overdue site for the band.
2) Does anyone know the Abort tour setlist? The couple of memories I had
were one of just the guys coming back on stage for the encore, Eric stating something to the effect of "We're gonna leave the women folk at home for this next song." and them rocking out a song by a Boston band before being joined by Terri and Janet for the final number and of Janet LaValley singing into a megaphone. Actually, my good friend, the Knife, now an engineer/producer in Las Vegas, was the sound man for the Scrapyard at the time and remembers fondly assisting Miss LaValley with bullhorn/mic technique during soundcheck.
3) Are there any bootlegs of the Abort tour? I will gladly clean/remaster them for the 5 of us in the world that care.

We go worried that we'd get kicked out because the show was filled. So we snuck back out. But good fortune prevailed. Brother John got a scalper tix for less then show cost and the kid behind the ticket counter hooked me up with a front row seat. Brother John came down and sat with me. Killer show, I just hate Tori live, she fucks the tunes up too much.

His brother Al and his best friend Vinny was there also. We drove all over LA. We even went to the Nicole Brown Simpson crime scene (watta bunch of cheezers). After the show we hung around a place called the Atlas Club. Nuts!

Borden wasn't there, I don't know if he quit or what, but in his place was this cheezoid double kick Warrent outtake jizz metal drummer, with a full drum cage (burp). What a cheeze crack drum solo. I live for Chris Hicks, I ain't gay but he is one cool dude. He plays a mean guitar and sings like a mother fucker, when the shot whore came by, I bought a shot for Chris, later in the night, he did his guitar solo for Ghost Riders with it, TOO SICK, I lost it, that dude is too nuts. Lead singer Lips made a ton of kooky faces on stage, must have gone to Front Man School with the lead singer frpm the Killer Dwarfs. Notes: This is is what's weird about, and I have to be honest. I went to see The Gathering, not knowing they were opening for the Misfits. My hag & I were at the club around 1 pm. The Misfits showed up first around 4, they are the niceset bunch of guys I've ever met. They immediately started unloading their weight equipment and began lifting and drinking power shakes. Jerry was mega swell, signing autographs for all the kids and giving interviews. The Gathering pulled in about 5:30, great kids. I wish them the best. Their set rocked. It was a million degrees in the club and we had to leave to get back for Toronto so I never saw The Misfits, but I can guarantee, I'll see them the next time they come to Buffalo.

Notes: Missed Black Widow's set, but got the info from Lana. This has got to be the worst show I've ever seen. I was so pumped to see them and Quiet Queer really let me down. They hammered through the hits at a million miles an hour playing them as if they would rather be golfing, zipping in and out of boring nowhere jams. The hamormies blew. Will somebody please tell Frankie Banali that he is a great drummer, just please stop over playing? The guy pretty much ruined WASP-The Crimson Idol with his over playing.

Notes: What a fucked up night. Feedback has always been telling me how great Talas was and how I have to see them. He hears about this secret reunion, calls me up, sez he bought the ticket and I'm going...tough shit. Well, I've always wanted to see them so I said what the hell. Here's where it gets interesting. The bar has paid their bills, so there is no heat or electricity in the place. The whole club is run by generators. Shy Boy's set was lame and gay. After an hour or more wait...Talas finally hits the stage. The rocked. Three songs in the power goes out. Ten minutes later the fix the generators, it goes back on. Power goes out in three more songs. I say fuck this we're leaving. Stupid Feedback didn't want to go. I said screw this...I'll call my hag to come pick me up. I go outside 6 cop cars show up to escort everyone out of the building. What a gay night...I was so pissed at Feedback...

06/14/2000 - U.D.O. The Fun House
Notes: Went with Sex Martin, Rocky & my hag. This show has to be the sleeper hit of 2000 for me. I was totally floored by it's intensity and power. Udo and boyz came out with a bang and never let us rest for one second. It was a non-stop barrage of songs. Winterdreams was wonderful and Balls To The Wall made me insane!!! The group of us that were in the front (about 25 or so) were all alike. Between 27-33 and knew our metal goods. While a bunch of dorks were busy hitting on my hag, I rocked it out with Chunkhead Jeff and Brother Mike. Udo looked great and sounded great. Got a chance to meet for autographs after the show....nuts. If you ever bump into Sex Martin or me, ask us about our hotdog dinner @ the Bacteria Square before the show.
Show review from NSS 06/00 Newz Letter: Second, I went to see U.D.O. (see the review in the concerts section of my web site) at the Funhouse last Wednesday (06/14/00). U.D.O. is Udo Dirkschneider's (former lead singer of the German metal band Accept) solo
project. At 48 years old, Udo hammered through those old Accept tunes with such a vengeance, I felt my head was going to crack in half and my brains would bleed out my ears. There was about 25-30 of us old ugly heavy metallers (all between 27-33) in the front row, banging our heads and pounding our fists in the air. When Stefan Kaufmann (former Accept drummer now U.D.O. guitarist) began strumming the chords to Accepts biggest hit "Balls To The Wall", the whole gang of us went completely bloody mental. It was beautiful...I was 16 again...until I got home and me back began to hurt...then I felt my age.

08/01/2000 - Iron Maiden The Air Canada Centre
Notes: Ok, call this Canadian ingenuity, but I just don't get it. The show as billed as the Sears Theater inside the Air Canada Centre. It thought, "Holy Shit! There's a theater inside that aud?" Nope, half of the Air Canada Centre was covered off and was renamed the Sears Theater. Had great seats, up close and to the far left. Entombed impressed me, even though I'm not really into that growl metal. Rob Halford caved my fucking head it. He played a sheer set of molten metal, not missing one scream or a beat. Perfect set of great solo stuff and rare Priest. Maiden sounded great, played great (except from Wrathchild, timing guys...timing) and looked great. Except:
a) the set list sucked mega dick (can't you guys just forget the Blaze Bayley years? I did!!!) How about Revelations, Still Life or Back In The Village? Do we really need the Trooper. And enough of the new album or at least play the good songs like Out Of The Silent Planet rather than Blood Brothers!
b) Bruce saida bunch of cocky stupid shit on stage. Telling off other bands and claiming that Brave New World is best Maiden album ever, better than Number Of The Beast & Piece Of Mind. (I'm sorry sir, but that answer is incorrect, the punishment is death)
c) Somebody give Janick Gers his walking papers. Get of the stage you fucking Robert Plant poser cheeze crack guitar player and take your wammy bar with you.
Funny story: during Hallowed Be Thy Name, Bruce was yelling at Rod Smallwood who was smoking off stage by all the pyrotechnics. Nuts!!!
Cool Wicker Man Eddie! Rent the movie NOW!!!

08/02/2000 - King Diamond The Reverb Room
Notes: First and foremost, special thanx to Boat, the driver and stage manager who got a couple cds back for King to sign. Dude, you made my day!!!
The Deep (Texas) were cool. Babylon Whores (from Finland) reminded me of a heavy Hanoi Rocks. Shadows Fall were very mega nuts...crowd was really into them.
What can I say? The King always takes care of his fans. Great set. Band was plauged with a small stage and numerous techincal problems so they didn't play as intense and tight as I remembered before...but they came and they played. Wasn't loud at all and the sound mega sucked!!! Ultra rare track Burn...never played before. Plus Dressed In White...heavy.

08/11/2000 - King Diamond Water Street Music Hall
Notes: Had my buddy Derek Hendrickson (misterd1313@hotmail.com) make me one of his Elvis busts, this time with King Diamond face. I put in a box for King along with a Monkey Head Magazine (Issue 8) article that proved that the King was really Elvis (it's true). Hung out with my buddy Dino thoughout the evening, sick dude has pic with the King (sans makeup) in 1987 backstage at the Rivera Theater (Abigail tour). Took to that Voodoo chick. Mega thanx to Da Chef (sick dude!!) who got us close enough to the backstage area so I could get Ole Bang to give King the gift. Thought we saw King performing a ritual before the show...(possessed!)...bumped into King outside after the show and shook his hand...he dug the bust. Overall great show...never a complaint with the King...could hear the man struggle a bit from Abigail on...it's a pity...

08/13/2000 - Blue Oyster Cult, Todd Rudgren, Nazareth Vernon Downs
Notes: Went up with Brother John, Karl Von Schweiger, his brother Doug and my hag. Met up with Darkness, John & some sick dude. Some car caught fire in the parking lot...mega fucking loud show!!!!
Breakdown: Rick Derringer - Arrived late, but gold guitar playing....
Edgar Winter - Killer jams, a little long winded. Ed's a goofy lanky geek, but a monster player. Mitch Perry on guitar (from Phil Naro Talas days)....ripper player, but a mega beat-up old pretty boy cheezer
Joan Jett & the Blackhearts - The Blackhearts looked a bunch of beat-up old Sex Pistols dudes...rocked out with a bunch of punk heavy tunes. Joan looked nuts with her head all shaved...must have snorted a pound of snow before the show...her nose kept twitching and she kept blowing it between every song with Kleenex...guitar players arm looked like a pin cushion with all the needle marks. Joan snapped middle of the set about not having earplugs on stage....work no underwear under those leather pants...which the laces cameundone (Guess Who style)...
Nazareth - just came out, slaughtered the audience and stole the show...what more can I say. Crowd started getting all gay and nuts...got a little scary....
Todd Rundgren - had a mega headache after Nazareth...walked back and dug the tunes from a far. Wish I could have snapped up front....
Blue Oyster Cult - I've had it with this dudes...patch it up the with Bouchards so we can stop having the Buck & Bloom show and start hearing some good tunes....and while your at it, get rid of that Bobby Rondinelli cheezer. He and Frankie Banali (Quiet Queer) suffer from the same, I'm So Good I'll Overplay disease. He just charges through those tunes like bull in a china shop with those gay double kick drum fills...overplayer of the year award 1980-2005....Harvester Of Eyes and This Ain't The Summer Of Love weren't enough to salvage this show. Left during Godzilla... Rocky said it best, "They're just getting lazy!" And it's true, they play like they'd rather be
golfing, where as Nazareth comes in screaming with vengeance (Priest style)

08/16/2000 - Iron Maiden Darien Lake Performing Arts Center
Notes: Went with Poultry and my hag. God I fucking hate Darien Lake...sound sucked dick. Future bands who play there...don't call that place Buffalo. Come play Buffalo rather than this God forsaken Hell Hole.
Rob Halford - was in personal and vocal pain...barely limped through the set. Just stood there, rarely walking...still kicked ass...
Queensryche - This band blew the doors off the place. I though they were gonna suck...but they fucking rocked. Geoff Tate (who always had image problems) looked really cool. Band looked, sounded and played great.
Iron Maiden - What can I say: Fat, Boring, Bloated, Loose & Pretentious. Bruce threw some crack out of the show because he was shining a laser light in his eyes...also...shut up Bruce you fucking Nazi. Stop it with this stage banter bullshit. Page, Plant & Gers...anything to get this guy out of Maiden. What can I say, same gay set list as before. I was wondering why I was digging Sign Of The Cross and then Poultry put it perspective. Notes: Went with V...met up with BOC hardcores Rocky, Dave Sheppard, Mark Surra and Karl Von Schweiger.
Unless there is a reunion tour, I will never see BOC again. They are lame, boring and the set list sucks. I have an idea...lets shit can the cheezy bass/drum solo in Godjirra and play an extra tune or two. So it shall be written so it shall be done. Oh by the way, Buck's Boogie is one of the dumbest instrumentals ever. Bloom...bury the hatchet with the Bouchards so we can finally listen to some good tunes again.

Notes: Believe it or not, I only went to see Willie Nile...was totally inspired and wrote a ton of lyrics. Ran home to finally start writing...writers block again...we'll it's only been two years....
Met Willie, got autographs, bought the new disk...he's such a swell dude. Band played well...but nothing from Places I Have Never Been. That really hurt. Outside of that, it was a spiritual gig...walked down to where I used to live 9 years ago...reminded myself of were I've been, where I am and where I'd like to go. Wish Brother John was at the gig with me.

The Dan Toler Band consisted of Dan Toler-guitar, Tony Perrino - Hammond B3 Organ & Vocals, Poultry - drums, Mike Criscione - Guitar & Vocals and NSS - Bass & Vocals. This also was the final Cheezy Money show. The line up for the Fun House was Willie and the Reinhartds, Bar King Spiders, Tommy Z and Blues Power, Cheezy Money and The Dan Toler Band. Notes: Went with Gooch. The band was hot, Eddie was not. Fat, bloated, drunk and coked up. Spent the entire night bitching about his wife. Told stories about cutting an ex-hags blow for her back in the day. Eddie kept asking, "Do you want some old Eddie Money?" and Gooch and I kept yelling, "We got him!" Blackie was sick in the head. One of the best showz I've seen in a long time....a must. Blackie was swinging like a monkey on his mic stand smearing flourescent Halloween makeup all over. 10/16/2002 - Rush Blue Cross Arena
Notes: First off, I love Vapor Trails, it's one of the best albums they've put out in a long while. Didn't want to go and I didn't see the summer tour because I hate Darien Lake and I was all bummed out about losing my hag. Was taken by my client Joe Carlo from Sam-Son Distributors along with Joe's cousin Matt Hout, Steve Northman, Joe Bologna and Poultry (who hounded me to go).
I'm glad I went as I had the best time ever!!!! The set list was chock full of killer B-sides and I'm glad they got Tom Sawyer out of the way early. Set 1 was definitely better. Bumped into my old friend former bass student (if you can believe it) Vince Valenti who flew up from North Carolina to see the show.
Neil was a little loose surprisingly, but the band opened up a bunch of songs, including Bravado, Driven (which rocked and I hate the song) and La Villa.
Good time was had by all except Steve Northman who got a flat tire on the way up and missed most of the first set.
Set list(s): Set One ~~~~~~ Tom Sawyer Distant Early Warning (solid gold) New World Man (love it) Roll The Bones (burp) Earthshine YYZ Bravado (killer jam near the end...love this song) Big Money (Neil was outta synch during the ending) Between The Sun And Moon Vital Signs (mega rare) Natural Science

12/20/2002 - Nazareth The Glen Pavilion
Notes: What a rare and golden opportunity it was to see Nazareth in their own home town of Dunfirmline, Scotland.
The Glen Pavilion is a really cute and historic little venue right in the middle of Pittencrieff Park.
The gig was a charity benefit for Search M.E. a organization dedicated to fighting Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. I had a lovely conversation with Robert Sclater, the director/chairman the organization and it was he who informed me that the Steve Agnew Band was unable to perform as the other guitarist had popped a blood vessel and had to be rushed to the hospital.
My promoter Robert Ellen of Medicine Music used this gig as the catalyst of the NSS Forget About My Worries and Ex-Wife 2002 UK Christmas Tour. Both he and I received VIP passes courtesy of Ronnie Dalrimple who heads the Nazareth merchandise. We even slept in Ronnie's tour bus right next to all of the Naz bootlegs and other merch. What a lovely and honest guy not caring one bit that we could make off with the whole kit 'n' caboodle. Ronnie had a 6 am set up call for the gig and so he left us free reign of his house and told us to raid the fridge for breakfast. These Scot's are too kind.
Robert and I decided not take advantage of your unbelievably hospitable host and went out and had a wonderful and inexpensive Indian dinner before setting out to the show. As luck would have it, Ronnie was eating in the table right by us and I was able to truly thank him for his hospitality.
We spent the evening hobnobbing and hanging in the VIP room. Needless to say, when the Naz Boyz took the stage they dominated it with a vengeance...a truly unforgettable show.
Naturally, Robert and I made a b-line back to Dingwall after the show (a four hour drive) as the NSS tour
commenced the very next day.
Picked up a tour shirt and hat to remember the night by.
Set list(s): Must Hang Sally ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Missed most of the show, but here are the last three songs. Because The Night Dancing In The Dark Born To Be Wild

07/15/2003 - Journey Marine Midland Arena
Notes: A gift from my boss Wayne. Went with Wayne & Michelle Nelligan, Pam Good, Steve & Lynn Szubinski, Adrian Zannin and his girlfriend Pam.
REO was the sleeper hit of the summer for me, they rocked the house with energy and passion, I am quick to suggest I was duly impressed, Zappa say.
STXY blew moose dick. I knew we were in for a jizz show when they opened with Too Much Time. Oh my God, that was Larry Gowan playing the role of Dennis DeYoung. Now that I found that out, I feel guilty thinking he was such a cornball on stage. Pick up his 1984 classic Strange Animal worship him. Pretty much an overall uninspired performance, barely playing any Dennis DeYoung songs and boring us to tears with long winded jams and second rate new material. Does Glenn Burtnik know he's annoying?
Journey rocked the house, love the new singer, but why does Neil Schon need to prove he's a guitar god and ruin every song with a tasteless solo? Face it, you sold out Neil, take the fame and money and play
something melodic and cheezy. Go on a musical masturbation solo club tour with Billy Sheehan and bore us to tears there.

08/17/2003 - Jethro Tull Artpark
Notes: We got tickets to the show as a perk for interviewing Martin Barre for RockstarPix TV. Due to the quality of Ian's voice, I had long given up on seeing Tull. It's not just that he strains to hit the notes, but that he has to change his entire vocal style in order to try and sing at all. I wonder if Ian's throat problems were caused by his flute playing and all the harsh guttural noises he makes while doing so. The set list was pretty bland with the exception of Fat Man, Beside Myself, Hunting Girl, My God (which made me piss my pants) and Budapest. The band was super tight, but I really did get sick of primarily instrumental versions of songs as Ian would sing a verse maybe two and then jam forever. The opening number Living In The Past grew intolerable due to its modern arrangement. We pretty much left before the encore.
My good friend, Mike Criscione has been pestering me for
years to see Willy Porter and has gone as far as to travel to Vermont to see the guy. I'm not a fan of guitar gods as to me it's musical masturbation, but Willy's tunes are phenomenal and his guitar playing is insane. But nothing prepared me for when he asked the audience for words and he created an improv tune right on the spot. I am still flabbergasted by this amazing feat and I thought I was good with improv. Needless to say, I have been shamed into submission.

11/01/2003 - King Diamond Odeon Concert Club
Notes: Went with Sex Martin and Rocco's Tacos and met up with Heckle & Jeckle (zizz zizz) at the gig. SBT was ok and Nocturne was pretaped and kinda boring even with the hot hag singer shaking her rack on stage. Entombed was mega nuts and heavy. I really got into their set.
King was gold as usual and I'm glad he played some rare goods for the set, though I would have loved to hear Voodoo. He claimed he was taping the tour for a live album which would be great. Hearing Halloween was super nuts and he brought Livia Zita from Budapest (J-Tull style) to sing. Unfortunately she was stuck off in the corner and not really featured, even though she did some backups. Kings voice started out rough, but he got strong. Too many encores...don't make us beg, just deliver the goods Judas Priest style.

Notes: Went with my friends Bob & Cindy Webster. I love Artpark and this was part of a free concert summer series that's held by the Art-L, except for the fact that they hit you with a $3 walk in fee...so much for free.
It took a while for the mix to come to fruition, but it was a great show all in all. Really bummed that he didn't do Sad And Deep As You.
Set list(s): Dave Mason ~~~~~~~~~~ Only You Know And I Know 40,000 Headmen World In Changes We Just Disagree Look At You, Look At Me Dust My Broom Shouldn't Have Took More Than You Gave Let It Go (new song) Dear Mr. Fantasy All Along The Watchtower

07/01/2004 - Jet The Dome Theater
Notes: Gooch & his bro took me and I decided to go on a Lark. Immediately fell in love with the band and bought the CD (pre autographed) at the show. Haven't been so into a new band and disk since I saw Tribe back in 92.

08/13/2004 - Nazareth Matrix Nite Club
Notes: Clay and I went to interview the boyz for Infinity Mag and received total red carpet treatment by Naz, stage manager Tom Sinclair and Matrix Nite Club staff.
Had a great time chilling out with security guard, Phil Bodzasi, who regaled us with stories of beating people up.
Seventh and best time I've seen Nazareth. This set list cooked and was chockfull of rare goods, I though I'd lose my skull.
Set list(s): Nazareth ~~~~~~~~ Changing Times (NUTS!!!!!) Not Fakin' It Miss Misery/Please Don't Judas Me Razamanaz Kentucky Fried Blues (mega rare!!) This Month's Messiah (TOO SICK & TOO RARE!!!) 10/13/2004 - King's X Club Rockit
Notes: Went up with my mate Mike Criscione and his best friend Greg Huller for an interview with Infinity Mag. I wasn't feeling up to par and so I asked Greg if he wanted to interview the band as he and Mike are big fans.
Interview went great and the band rocked the house. Harmonies kicked ass and less than a hundred people there...pity. Ty made tons of fag jokes about Doug.

07/13/2005 - W.A.S.P. Club Infinity
Notes: Met up with Sex Martin and Rocky. Metal Church was gold as always, but too short of a set. Kirk Arrington was giving Sex Martin tips on dealing with diabetes (too nuts).
W.A.S.P. played and sounded good, but no new goods and the show was done in one hour, with the encore. Kinda gay.
Set list(s): Metal Church ~~~~~~~~~~~ Ton Of Bricks Start The Fire Leave 'Em Behind Battallions The Dark Metal Church
LA Guns ~~~~~~~ I know they did Sex Action, but outside of that I didn't give a fuck.

08/13/2005 - Chris Isaak Avalon Ballroom (Fallsview Casino)
Notes: Remind me to punch Mike Criscione for knowing about the two shows three months in advance and not telling me until morning of the second show. Totally rearrainged my day, was running late, went to the WRONG casino and prolly missed the first three songs.
Chris and band are in stellar form, dude says the funniest shit ever, God I hate casino people.
Tried my best to capture the setlist, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

03/23/2006 - The Gathering The Reverb Room
Notes: Went up with Rocky and had a super gold time. Giant Squid was ok and for all of the musical proficiency of Unexpect (bassist had a 9 string bass...nuts!!!), they didn't yank my crank.
The Gathering came on and rocked the house. Would have loved it if they'd done Nighttime Birds and Strange Machines.
Set list(s): The Gathering ~~~~~~~~~~~ Liberty Bell (from How To Measure A Planet?) Even The Spirits Are Afraid (from Souvenirs) Analog Park (from If_Then_Else) Broken Glass (from Souvenirs) Saturnine (from If_Then_Else) Probably Built In The 50's (from How To Measure A Planet?) 08/12/2006 - Chris Isaak Avalon Ballroom (Fallsview Casino)
Notes: Almost a year to the day later, Mike Criscione makes good for kicking me to the curb (see concert notes above).
Mike, Brenda & I waited in the buffet line for one hour only to quickly gobble our food and make a bee-line to the show.
Chris was consistent as always...God I hate casino people.
Set list(s): Chris Isaak ~~~~~~~~~ Lonely With A Broken Heart Let's Have Party Let Me Down Easy (kinda weak & sloppy which bummed me out cause I LOVE this song) Speak Of The Devil Dancin' Somebody's Cryin' Wicked Game Go Walking Down There One Day I Want You To Want Me ? 08/16/2006 - Ian Gillan Town Ballroom
Notes: Went with Philipe Warda, Rocky & Sex Machine. They had some cute bikini hag with a small rack and a big crack come out holding signs with the songs on it like some ring side girl. Gillan was gold, but he didn't do Trashed which hurt me bad.
Set list(s): Ian Gillan ~~~~~~~ No Laughing In Heaven Into The Fire Hang Me Out To Dry Have Love Will Travel Wasted Sunsets (ultra rare, Billy and Rocky went nutz!!!) Not Responsible ? (instrument jam because Ian forgot his harmonica and they couldn't do the planned number) Unchain Your Brain Bluesy Blue Sea Texas State Of Mind (Michael Lee Jackson song from new album...I stepped out to take a piss) Sugar Plum When A Blind Man Cries Men Of War 70's drum solo Smoke On The Water (burp)

Notes: Sex Martin, Rocky, Feedback, Helfrich and even my ex hag (for whatever reason) was there, Alan Lanier wasn't so gay ass Danny Bonaduci was on bass. 04/12/2007 - The Tubes Club Paradise
Notes: Went with Scott Helfrich, Darkness and Sex Martin. First time I saw Fee get dressed up and nuts. Some dude kept shouting for Space Baby and Fee told him to piss off, but then he did a surprise performance of it as a third encore. Too siick of a show, great time.

Notes: Yet another great show @ Artpark, though I'm totally bummed that they took down the Art-El. Kay and the boys were a bit on the lethargic side, but this is his last tour and I'm sure he wants to get it over with.

07/04/2007 - Rush Darien Lake Performing Arts Center
Notes: I "won" free tickets and took Sex Martin, Rocky and Scott Helfrich. We were 15th row dead center and went absolutely ballistic at that show, one of the best set lists in a long time save for the fact that they were too heavy on the new album. They did Summertime Blues in Atlanta (which I wasn't in the mood to hear), but in Buffalo they did Distant Early Warning and Billy and I went SICK!!! Alex started Limelight, but had to pause for a bit because Geddy was late coming on stage...
Set list(s): Set One ~~~~~~ Limelight Digital Man (sickness) Entre Nous (EVIL!!) Mission Freewill The Main Monkey Business The Larger Bowl Secret Touch Circumstances (gold!!!) Between The Wheels (rare!!!) Dreamline

11/14/2007 - The Cult Town Ballroom
Notes: Went with Scott Davis and Joe and Laura Cultrara. Met up with Sex Martin and Darryl P Brothers.
The band was gold except for that goofy, superfluous Woody Allen guitarist. Ian looked and sounded pretty good but didn't have the stamina to hit a lot of the higher phrases in Revolution, She Sells Sanctuary and Fire Woman.
Before I Assassin security was trying to throw some hag out in the front row and Ian was telling them to piss off and threatening to leave the show even though the hag was the one causing trouble.
Near the end some stupid drunken crack push his way up and kept spilling beer on me, I told his buddy to have him chill out and dude told me to fuck off. Then stupid drunk fuck started pushing/punching Darryl and his crack buddy tried to act like he was helping us.
Sex Martin and Darren got security and they threw the stupid groin out, but that pretty much ruined the show for me.
The show/encore downtime was long and gay as they played some cult tune to a video
on the screen.
Besides winning free tickets, Joe won an autographed Jaegermeister gee-tar and he and Laura were able to get me cd covers autographed at after show meet & greet. Laura said Ian was a dick and wanted to punch him but I guess Billy was gold.
